Eric Briys - Co-founder, President
Eric is the cofounder and President of Cyberlibris. He spent fifteen years in the academic world as a Professor of Finance. After having taught at the CERAM, and then in Canada and the United States, he joined the Groupe HEC, heading up the Finance and Economy department, the Doctoral Program and the Institut Supérieur des Affaires (ISA).
His main areas of research were in derivatives markets, insurance, the risk economy and asset liability management. He published some thirty scientific papers and eight reference books. He then left the academic world to work in merchant banking. He managed Insurance & Reinsurance departments for Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank.
Eric is a graduate of HEC and of the Stockholm School of Economics. He holds a doctorate degree in economic sciences from the University of Geneva.
François Lascaux - Cofounder, Managing Director
François is the cofounder and Managing Director of Cyberlibris. He spent 15 years in the Tobacco industry firstly as Head of Product Marketing and then as Export Market Manager, a post in which he covered numerous countries across Europe, including Switzerland, Greece and Turkey.
He was responsible for numerous large-scale sales and marketing projects in France and internationally and became well-versed in the demands of complex competitive environments.
For 6 years, he acted as branch Managing Director for Altadis and Seita in the Benelux region and Italy.
François is a graduate of ESCP.
Christine Jeannet - Academic Market Manager
Christine is responsible for Cyberlibris' academic market. Before joining Cyberlibris, she spent almost five years with Lehman Brothers in London, where she was in charge of credit research and convertible bonds. Part of her work involved developing investment strategies and selling them to institutional clients.
Christine is a graduate of the Free University of Berlin and the University of Geneva and holds a postgraduate diploma in Monetary Economics and Finance.
